Administrative department of Tourism and Maritime affairs performs administrative and expert tasks both in sector of tourism and maritime affairs, monitors the situation in the aforementioned sectors, draws reports, expert analyses, proposals and documentation drafts, all aiming at better and more uniform tourist and maritime development of the County. Monitors, analyses and implements the tourist development strategies. Monitors, analyses and proposes the plan and strategy of management with maritime domain in the territory of Split-Dalmatia County.
Provides proposals and expert elaborations for the construction of facilities on the maritime domain in the territory of the County, participates in the elaboration of County master plan, in the aspects dealing with maritime domain management and port infrastructure. It monitors the realisation of the budget revenues from its competence and undertakes measures for their enforced collection. Monitors and participates in the implementation of EU projects within the scope of its competence.
